Commentary for I Samuel 17:53

וַיָּשֻׁ֙בוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִדְּלֹ֖ק אַחֲרֵ֣י פְלִשְׁתִּ֑ים וַיָּשֹׁ֖סּוּ אֶת־מַחֲנֵיהֶֽם׃

And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their camp.

From pursuing. Meaning the same as מִרְדׂף [=pursuing] as in "you have pursued [דָלַקְתָּ] me."²⁸Bereishis 31:36
